The gatehouse provides a welcoming building for patrons to pass through, check their backpacks and wash their hands. It is located at the entrance to the compound. The depot is used for storage and also houses the diesel generator that provides electricity to the library. The pump house holds the water pump, which is necessary for the operations of the library and serves the needs of the immediate community.
